Let’s celebrate the night sky during Global Astronomy Month!

🤩Tonight’s sky has a beautiful “cosmic lineup” for beginners!
Tuesday, April 28, 2026, early evening

Step outside after sunset and look from the northwest across the southern sky toward the southeast.
One sky connects us all.

🔭We go live in just a few hours!

Today's beginner-friendly webinar is all about smart telescopes, what they are, how they work, and how they can help make astronomy and astrophotography easier for newcomers.

If you’ve ever wanted to photograph the Moon, capture a bright nebula, or simply understand how these app-powered scopes work, come join us live.

This is a welcoming session for beginners, the curious, and anyone wondering whether smart telescopes are right for them.

❓Last-minute question for you:
What would you most like me to cover live?
Setup? Best beginner targets? Image quality? Choosing a scope?

👇Tell me below and don’t forget to share this with anyone who loves the night sky.

A lot of people are fascinated by the night sky, but feel overwhelmed when they hear words like alignment, stacking, tracking, calibration, and post-processing.

That’s exactly why smart telescopes are getting so much attention.

These newer app-controlled scopes can help beginners get started with observing and imaging in a much more approachable way.

In our upcoming Global Astronomy Month webinar "Smart Scopes for Beginners" on April 28 @ 2 pm EDT, we'll walk through:
🔭 what a smart telescope actually is
🌙 what beginners should try first
✨ what kinds of sky objects work best
📱 how these systems make astronomy more accessible
⚠️ and what smart scopes still can’t do, so expectations stay realistic

This is not a tech-heavy session. It’s designed to help everyday skywatchers feel more confident.

❓So let me ask you:
What has stopped you most from getting into astronomy imaging?

1. Too complicated
2. Too expensive
3. Don’t know where to start
4. Cloudy weather where I live 😄

Comment with your number below.

✅And if you know someone who says, “I’d love a telescope, but I wouldn’t know how to use it,” please share this post with them.

Thinking about getting a smart telescope — but not sure where to begin?

During Global Astronomy Month, we are hosting a beginner-friendly live webinar all about how today’s smart scopes are making it easier than ever to explore the Moon, nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters.

We’ll look at the basics of using smart telescopes, what they do well, what to realistically expect, and how beginners can get started with less frustration and more fun.

We'll be using examples like the Dwarf 3, Dwarf Mini, Seestar, and Vespera, but this session is really for anyone curious about smart scopes.

If you’ve ever wondered:
✨ Are smart telescopes really beginner-friendly?
✨ Can they work from my backyard?
✨ Which kinds of objects can I actually see or image?
✨ Are they worth it for someone just starting out?
This webinar is for you.

Drop a comment below and tell us:
If you had a smart telescope tonight, what would be the first thing you’d want to point it at?

And please share this with a friend, family member, teacher, club member, or beginner skywatcher who wants an easier way into astronomy.
