Reintroducing Ziggy, formerly known as Grits! 🐾❤️

One look at Ziggy’s new photos and you can see what a happy, sweet boy he is! This 10-month-old bully mix has a tall, slender build, a snow-white coat, and the cutest spotted ears that stand at attention.

Ziggy was found wandering near a grocery store in rural South Carolina and rescued by one of our foster moms. He’s currently living with a mom, dad, and another dog and has quickly settled into the family routine.

This affectionate, playful boy loves his people, enjoys playing fetch, and is always up for a good snuggle. He’s crate-trained, housetrained, smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. After a good walk or hike, he’s happy to nap or entertain himself with toys while his foster parents work.

Ziggy is social with people and dogs and has no dog reactivity. He walks well on leash in quiet areas, but loud traffic, trucks, and buses still frighten him. He’ll do best in a quieter suburban setting while he continues building confidence with new experiences.

He enjoys playing with other dogs but doesn’t need a canine buddy to keep him happy. We think he could do well as an only dog in a home with a flexible work schedule or with a friendly dog who enjoys playtime.

Lolli Update!

After her owner passed away, Lolli was given away because her family didn’t want to keep her.

Thankfully, she’s now safe in foster care and showing us what a sweet, easygoing girl she is.

Lolli is house-trained, well-behaved, knows her commands, and loves car rides, toys, snuggles, and watching TV. She enjoys people and kids and has lived with another chill dog, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only.

Lolli does experience some anxiety when left alone, but she isn’t destructive and has steadily improved as she settles into foster care. She’ll do best with someone who has a flexible schedule and lives in a more low key neighborhood.

This scruffy little girl has so much love left to give, and her best days are still ahead. ❤️

Yesterday was Transport Day, and Worthy Dog welcomed Jojo, Dolly, Penny, Waylon, Sadie, and Carl Dean to town! It was a beautiful fall day filled with incredible dogs and wonderful people coming together to change lives.

Rescue is about giving dogs the kindness, safety, and love they deserve. Our foster families open their homes and hearts, help dogs adjust to a new life, and then let them go to families they trust. Yes, it can be hard, but it’s also incredibly rewarding!

We need more foster homes, savvy social media folks, and people willing to share their talents. You don’t have to do it all to make a difference. You just have to be willing to do something. ❤️

🚨Wilson Needs Your Help! 🚨

We’ve been trying to bring this adorable little guy to town for the past two months, and he still hasn’t had any interest. Let’s change that!

Meet Wilson! 🐾

He’s young, adorable, and has spent the past two months in his South Carolina foster home learning house manners. He’s ready to make the trip. He just needs a place to land!

Wilson is everything people love about young dogs: playful, curious, affectionate, full of personality, and adaptable. He’s a smart, energetic boy who loves to play, explore, solve puzzles, and chase balls. He’d thrive with an active family and ideally another young, playful dog to help burn off some of that energy.

He’s crate trained, housetrained, and making great progress with his leash skills.

And once the zoomies are over, his sweet side shines through. Wilson loves to snuggle, burrow under blankets, and curl up with his people. ❤️

🐾 Rally Cap for Twix! 🐾

Twix is the full package! Fun, social, affectionate, and always ready for a good time, this guy brings a whole lot of personality wherever he goes. ❤️

He loves playing with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good game of chase or wrestling. He’s also respectful of older, more laid-back dogs and knows how to settle when playtime is over.

Twix would love a playful dog in his forever home, but he’d also be happy as your one and only. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, great in the car, knows his basic commands, and is very treat-motivated. He’s also worked with a trainer on his leash skills and would do best with an owner who has a little dog savvy.

Twix is ready for his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a big, goofy personality, Twix might be your guy! 🐾
