Using colorful glass and found objects, you'll design and create your very own one-of-a-kind mosaic masterpiece. Learn glass cutting, creative design techniques, and more!

Bring a picture frame, tray, flowerpot, or another special object you'd love to transform, or even bring some broken glass or ceramics to personalize your piece -- or use one of our provided wooden forms!

Join Vicksburg Arts for Percussion in the Park, with Paige Hogan, of Midland, Michigan's Fulkerson Music Studio for a hands-on afternoon where everyday objects become instruments and everyone gets to make some noise!

We’ll explore the art of rhythm and discover how music can be made with just about anything. Grab a bucket, shake a shaker, scrape a washboard, tap, clap, stomp—and see what kind of sounds we can create together!

This interactive Parks Pop Up is designed for kids, parents, grandparents, teens, adults—and anyone who wants to play along. No musical experience needed, no instruments required, and there’s no wrong way to join in.

Come experiment with sound, learn a little about rhythm and percussion, and experience how a bunch of ordinary objects—and a group of neighbors—can turn into one big community jam session. 🎶

Feeling creatively stuck?
Creativity isn't just for artists. It's how we solve problems, generate ideas, adapt when something isn't working, take risks, and find new ways forward.

Our new class, 'Building Creative Capacity' is a four-part series to think differently, experiment freely & get unstuck.
It's for professionals, for creatives and for the creatively curious where no artistic experience is required.

Led by local artists and creativity facilitators Leslie Boughton and Liz Honeysett, this series uses playful, low-pressure exercises inspired by the visual and performing arts to strengthen skills like curiosity, experimentation, improvisation, risk-taking, idea generation, and working through uncertainty.

You may not leave with a finished piece of art—but you’ll leave with practical tools and strategies to continue building your creativity in everyday life.
