Bring the kiddos to the Vicksburg Arts tent and let their creativity shine as they design their own masterpiece using our repurposed Matchbox Car magnets.

What a fun way to kick off ‘Burg Days in downtown Vicksburg! A huge thank you to Mrs. Monica Harris for helping our community create the beginning of a popsicle stick quilt masterpiece.

'Burg Days kicks off tomorrow, and you know what that means — live music, food trucks, family fun, and Vicksburg Arts on the street with another great project!

This week we're excited to welcome Monica Harris, AKA the Doodling Duchess, for a creative community art project! Participants will help create a giant 4' x 4' popsicle stick quilt, with each decorated stick becoming part of the final masterpiece.

Come add your creativity to the project and be part of something beautiful together! We can't wait to see what our community creates!

☀️ Full-Day Camp (Ages 9–12)
📅 June 15–19 & July 13–17
⏰ 8:30 AM–2:30 PM

🎨 Half-Day Camp (Ages 6–8)
📅 June 22–26 & July 20–24
⏰ 8:30 AM–12:00 PM

New this year! Bonus sessions are available:
Morning Session: 6:30–8:00 AM
Afternoon Session: 3:00–4:30 PM (full-day camp only)

Financial assistance is available through our scholarship program. Simply follow the instructions on the registration form.

Thanks to the newly established David T. Reisterer Scholarship Fund, families can now access pay-what-you-can assistance for Vicksburg Arts' Art of Nature Summer Camps—making creative experiences more accessible for local children.

Our camps combine art, nature, exploration, friendship, and hands-on fun for ages 6–12, and no child should miss out because of cost.

Calling all creative teens! 🎨🌿☀️
Vicksburg Arts is looking for volunteer camp counselors for our Art of Nature Summer Camp this summer! If you love working with kids, being outdoors, making art and having fun — we’d love to have you on our team.

This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours, build leadership skills, make new friends and spend your summer making a difference in the community.

Camp Dates & Times:
Full Day Camp (Ages 9–12):
June 15–19 & July 13–17 | 8:30 AM–2:30 PM

Half Day Camp (Ages 6–8):
June 22–26 & July 20–24 | 8:30 AM–12 PM

Open to volunteer counselors ages 14–19.

What a fun Saturday in the ‘Burg!

Screen printing was a huge hit during the 154 1/2 Birthday Bash! Our community had such a great time exploring the art of printmaking with visiting artist Johanna Paas and creating their very own shirts.

Thank you to everyone who stopped into our little workshop, got creative, and made the day so special. Watching artists of all ages dive into the process was an absolute joy!

And a big thank you to Prairie Ronde Artist Residency for partnering with us and sharing your incredible resident artist. Johanna was fabulous — and so were all of our talented creators!
