It’s hard to relay with a photo and some words just how cool a class is going to be.

But take it from the social media girl, who is definitely not an artist by nature: this studio, the instruction, and the people who fill it are undeniably awesome.

There’s something about this space that allows you to completely let go. To try something new. To make a mess. To experiment without worrying about whether you’re doing it “right.” And then you get to put it all on pages you can flip back through and relive over and over again.

It’s therapeutic. It’s fun. It’s creative without being intimidating. And it’s an absolute treasure of an experience.

You won’t regret giving yourself these evenings.

Join us this Saturday at Oswalt Park for the first Creative Parks Pop Up where we’ll be taking on all different mediums!

And this is just the beginning! Stay tuned as the Creative Parks Pop Up Series brings new art, activities and experiences to parks throughout the Village all year long.

Join us for our first event in the Creative Parks Pop-Up Series this Saturday, August 29 from 11 AM–1 PM at Oswalt Park, at the corner of Prairie & Main in downtown Vicksburg!

We’re filling the park with creativity! Explore watercolor, acrylics, pastels, markers + more — choose your favorite medium or try them ALL. No experience needed, just come ready to create!

This event will also feature caricature artist Bryce Cooley and watercolor artist Nancy Smith!
