Look at those smiling faces! Through NWTF's Superfund, the Southwestern Michigan Longbeards chapter was able to donate $350! This donation was used to aid in the mission of young ones progression in their love for the outdoors. This is our second year of donating to the Schoolcraft Trap Team! As you all know, any help toward expenses takes a portion of the burden off. Do you know of an outdoors youth organization in Kalamazoo County that our chapter could assist? Let us know!

Today was the big day for the Annual Big Gobbler Contest! There was 67 participants in the contest. A big thank you for all who participated to make this event happen. Sponsors this year were Stubbys , Brooks Archery , and Steve Morren. Lots of fantastic prizes! Good laughs! And youth having fun. Hope to see you all next year. Remember that each event contributes to healthy habitats, conservation of wildlife, and happy harvests! These events keep the mission going for future generations.

The 2026 Southwestern Longbeards NWTF banquet is coming up quickly. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, do it soon if you plan on attending. March 7th at 4:30 pm at the Indian Run Golf course.
