The Treasure Coast Pilot Club of Vero Beach Florida held their Installation Banquet this week at the Italian American Club. Betsy Root officiated the installation. Gerrie Hegarty is the outgoing president and Jane Bentley is the incoming president. Wendy Freshly received the president’s cup. A delicious dinner was provided. The officers for 2026 - 2027 are:

The Treasure Coast Pilot Club presented awards to local ROTC students, Candace Deleanardo and Anthony Rubino. The same night the club presented scholarships to local high school students, Wesley Paris, Reshmai Sakhu, Tyler Simpson,Mikayla Berterand and Ella Kilman.

The Treasure Coast Pilot Club held its annual Dinner Dance at the Vero Beach Moose Hall. All the wonderful items at the silent auction sold. The guests praised the food and service. Many danced to the wonderful tunes of the band. The money made at this event went towards scholarships for the local high schools.
