Essentials Pantry - Vermilion FREE hygiene pantry open to all Vermilion residents in need on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. We welcome those in our neighboring communities as well.

Over 10% of Lorain County citizens live in poverty. Our goal at the Essentials Pantry is to bring improved health, hope, and dignity to these struggling people through the distribution of personal hygiene and cleaning items that are not covered by SNAP but are needed daily. We launched the Essentials Pantry at First Baptist Church of Vermilion in August 2022 and have quickly seen how much this is needed and appreciated. Everything is donated, everything is given for free.

We are excited to once again partner with Children's Hunger Alliance to offer FREE grab-and-go meals for kids this summer, beginning Monday 6/1. No registration is necessary - just stop by the main desk between 11AM and 1PM.

*Child must be present, unless a permission form is completed by the legal parent or guardian.
