We are called to action in times of crisis. Earlier this week there was a devastating event in Nepal. Thousands of people are impacted. Our Board voted to send a Shelter Box as we remain committed to Do Good in the World and Create Lasting Impact. Shelter Box has had a long standing relationship with Rotary International responding to catastrophes across the world. If you are moved to help, consider a donation to the Oberlin Rotary Club or directly to ShelterBox.

The unique working partnership between ShelterBox and Rotary means more families around the world receive emergency shelter.

We are all grieving the loss of an amazing advocate for children’s literacy. Dolly Parton wasn’t just a rhinestone cowgirl with a Hollywood life, she wasn’t just a country singer with a golden voice, she wrote lyrics that touched souls, that lifted the oppressed. She taught us all that being your authentic self should be celebrated, not judged. We are a proud supporter of Dolly’s Imagination Library. Thank you Dolly for leaving the world a better place than you found it.
