Mark your calendars for Empty Bowls by the Lake on Saturday, November 7, from 11 AM–2 PM at Avon Lake High School!

For just $25, enjoy delicious soups from 25+ local restaurants, bread, and a handmade pottery bowl to take home! AND MORE!

Best of all? Proceeds benefit Second Harvest and other local food pantries, helping provide nutritious food to neighbors in need. We're so grateful to be a beneficiary of this wonderful community tradition! 💚

Soup, bread, and a bowl you get to keep, all for $25.

That’s Empty Bowls by the Lake, Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Avon Lake High School, 175 Avon Belden Road.

You’ll get soup from 25+ local restaurants, Panera bread, and a handmade pottery bowl. There’s a silent auction, a raffle, and live music too. Pay with cash or credit at the door.

All proceeds go to Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio and other local food pantries.

Second Harvest is excited to announce that we will host FOUR Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Mobile Pantries this November, helping our neighbors across Lorain, Erie, Huron, and Crawford Counties put food on the table this holiday season!

IMPORTANT: PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! All income-eligible community members planning to attend a Thanksgiving distribution MUST register in advance for the distribution in their county.
