Family Promise of South Sarasota County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, seeks to help families with minor children who are in temporary need of housing. We will serve families in transition in Venice, North Port, and Englewood. We are a faith-based organization that enables the community to work together to address the needs of children without a home by providing temporary shelter, meals, and comprehensive services to their family to help them achieve lasting self-sufficiency.

Last Thursday was such an incredible day for our organization and community! ❤️
We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate our ribbon cutting with us. Your support, encouragement, and presence made this milestone even more meaningful.

A very special thank you goes to all of the volunteers who worked behind the scenes and throughout the event to keep everything running smoothly. From setup to cleanup, greeting guests, organizing details, and lending helping hands wherever needed, we truly could not have done it without you.

We are also deeply grateful to our community partners, supporters, board members, staff, and everyone who continues to believe in and support our mission. Seeing so many people come together reminds us why this work matters so much.

This ribbon cutting was more than just an event. It was a celebration of community, compassion, and the exciting future ahead. We are honored to serve this community and look forward to all that’s to come.
