Thrive2Survive hosted our first Thriving Together Luncheon Fundraiser yesterday.

We are truly humbled by the turn out of our community. Everyone who attended are truly changing lives here in Vancouver.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who were ensuring the event went off without a hitch. We could not do this without you all.

We are also so grateful and proud of those who gave their testimony. Tears were brought to many eyes from the true commitment to changing your lives.

Happy Monday! 🎉 Last Friday's event was a powerful example of community coming together. With the support of 28 community partners and 27 volunteers, we welcomed 220 attendees and made a meaningful impact.

✨ By the numbers: • 220 meals served
• 15 free haircuts provided
• 16 individuals connected to dental services
• 2 treatment admissions scheduled
• 7 additional individuals connected to future treatment opportunities
• 2 housing assessments completed and 4 more scheduled
• 3 individuals expressed interest in recovery housing
• 55 first-time attendees
• 25 bags of clothing distributed, plus 6 boxes of new shoes

💙 Among those surveyed, 39 individuals reported experiencing homelessness and 7 were at risk of homelessness. Every connection made is a step toward stability, health, and hope.

Department of Licensing representatives will be onsite to assist eligible individuals with obtaining a $5 Reduced Fee ID Card.

Request for Identicard Form
Letter confirming receipt of continuing public assistance
Approval letter showing current certification period
Client Benefit Account benefit history printout
Other qualifying documents:
WIC Participation Letter
Reduced Fee Form from a Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) caseworker

Youth Experiencing Homelessness (Age 25 & Under)

Individuals age 25 and under who are experiencing homelessness may qualify for:
One free Washington State ID card (lifetime benefit), or
A $5 reduced fee ID card

Eligible youth can verbally attest to a DOL licensing agent that they are homeless.

Whether you are looking for employment opportunities, housing support, recovery resources, healthcare services, or help obtaining identification, this event brings a wide range of support together in one location.
