“The Heights Hounds of EHNA” met two blowout, blonde
Golden Doodles, Murphy-10 and Cooper-8! They love hanging out on the couch and waiting for their Dog Dad, Darren, to walk them after work. They play a unique game of fetch and keep away… at the same time…Cooper loves chasing the ball, but if Murphy gets it he wont let Cooper have it! Y’all, they just moved here from Austin, TX. You can find them rhythmically romping up Buena Vista Dr. where they have their Dog Parents’s hearts and have found a new home here in Vancouver! Welcome to the EHNA! (BTW They have the same barber as Rod Stewart 😊🦮🦮✂️)

“The Heights Hounds of EHNA” met Poo Bear a three year old multi poo. She is cousins with our former friend, Gracie. She lives on Highland and Dallas and loves to play fetch with her football and garden with her mom, Kirsten. She gets to dig one hole per year. Then she gets muddy and needs a bath, but she hates baths, but does loves it when “Raindrops Keep Falling on her Head”. After playing in the dirt, she likes to nap. When she gets home from her walks she gets an oinkie. She also, surprisingly likes Ozzie! Say hello to Poo Bear!

“The Heights Hounds of EHNA” met, Lulu and Bodhi, Golden Doodle siblings who barked just as much at Ozzie as he did at them, only to find out they were friends!

These two Doodles love to eat, play and chew on bones. Their favorite thing to do is bookend hug Nancy sitting on the couch. Jack has been relegated to the food guy, but he loves his doggies anyway. They live on Arizona, and you can find this fab foursome walking through our neighborhood on the daily. This EHNA couple “Simultaneously” loves our neighborhood as well as their pups! Make sure to say hello the next time you see them.

Instead of coming to our neighborhood picnic because it has been postponed due to poor air quality….VOTE!

Tomorrow, August 4, is and your vote counts! Make sure your voice is heard by submitting your ballot on time.

There are three ways to return your ballot:
📮 By Mail: If you are mailing your ballot, it MUST be postmarked by tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4. No stamp needed!
🗳️ Ballot Drop Box: Deposit your ballot into any official red ballot drop box in Clark County. Ballots must be dropped off by 8:00 p.m. tomorrow, August 4.
🏛️ At the Elections Office (1408 Franklin Street): Open for in-person service, same-day voter registration, and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) for voters with disabilities.

Due to this announcement we will be postponing the EHNA neighborhood picnic! Stay tuned for the new date.

Due to air quality alerts from National Weather Service and Southwest Clean Air Agency, CRESA’s Emergency Operations Center has activated to “Monitoring" level to support local agencies.

Our 911 Center is responding to increased calls involving people medically affected by the poor air quality.

Please help reduce additional strain on first responders and protect community health by limiting outdoor activities and large gatherings.
