Looking for inspiration for your own pollinator garden?

Be sure to visit the beautiful Clark Public Utilities Pollinator Garden during this year's Vancouver Pollinator Festival! We're especially grateful to Clark Public Utilities for being a sponsor of this year's festival and for their ongoing commitment to pollinator habitat, environmental education, and our community.

Join Michael O'Loughlin and Jane Tesner Kleiner at 9:30 a.m. for a guided Bee Walk and Pollinator Garden Tour. You'll learn about the plants that make this garden successful, discover some of the pollinators that visit it, and pick up ideas you can use in your own yard or community space.

The tour is free and is a great way to kick off your festival experience before exploring vendors, speakers, art, food, and all the other activities happening throughout the day.

Participating in the Pollinator Festival Passport? You'll earn a Passport stamp by attending the tour!

Marshall Park will be packed with vendors, activities, art, educational exhibits, and great food from local vendors including Razo's Tacos, Kali Kantina, Sourpuss Lemonade, and Peace'a Planet.

Whether you're stopping by for a quick snack between speakers, grabbing lunch before a garden tour, or enjoying a refreshing drink while exploring the festival, we've got you covered.

Join us Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Marshall Park and surrounding festival sites. Don't miss keynote speaker Doug Tallamy, hands-on activities, bee walks, art, kids' activities, and so much more.

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Olivia Messinger Carril to this year's Vancouver Pollinator Festival!

Dr. Carril is a nationally recognized native bee expert, author, educator, and manager of the New Mexico Bee Atlas. Through her research, outreach, and books, she has helped thousands of people better understand and appreciate the incredible diversity of native bees.

Join us at noon on Saturday, June 20, at VITA Elementary for her presentation:

Tiny Pollinators, Mighty Partners: The Ecology of Washington's Wild Bees

Dr. Carril will explore the fascinating lives of our native bees and the important roles they play in healthy ecosystems. A book signing will follow her presentation.

We had so much fun talking with the 3rd graders at Sarah J. Anderson Elementary School this past week!

It was wonderful to share the amazing world of bees, pollinators, and native plants with such an enthusiastic group of students. We loved answering questions, talking about how bees live, and helping the next generation discover why pollinators are so important.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff at Sarah J. Anderson for welcoming us into your classrooms. We had a great time learning with you!

Throughout the month of May, we had the opportunity to work with the amazing Mandi and the team at VA Farms at the Vancouver VA Medical Center to educate veterans, staff, and visitors about pollinators and pollinator-friendly plants.

VA Farms is an incredible space featuring vegetable gardens, honey bees, native plants, and some very cool mason bee houses. It was wonderful to share information about pollinators and see firsthand how gardening, habitat creation, and nature can bring people together.

We're grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to support pollinator education in such a unique and impactful setting.

Durante todo el mes de mayo tuvimos la oportunidad de trabajar con la increíble Mandi y el equipo de VA Farms en el Centro Médico para Veteranos de Vancouver para educar a veteranos, personal y visitantes sobre los polinizadores y las plantas que los apoyan.

VA Farms es un espacio increíble que cuenta con huertos de vegetales, abejas melíferas, plantas nativas y algunas casas para abejas albañiles realmente impresionantes. Fue un placer compartir información sobre los polinizadores y ver de primera mano cómo la jardinería, la creación de hábitat y la naturaleza pueden unir a las personas.

We're just 3 weeks away from the 2026 Vancouver Pollinator Festival!

Join us on Saturday, June 20 from 9:00am–3:00pm for a fun-filled day celebrating pollinators, native plants, and community. This free event features vendors, food, art, speakers, garden tours, bee walks, kids activities, and so much more.

Did you stop by the Arts Hub during the 2025 Vancouver Pollinator Festival?

If so, you may have helped paint two beautiful community art panels with local artist Hill Kent! Hundreds of festival attendees helped bring these collaborative works of art to life, creating a lasting reminder of a wonderful day celebrating pollinators, nature, and community.

We're excited to share that limited-edition prints of these pieces will be available for purchase at the 2026 Vancouver Pollinator Festival. Even better, if you participate in the Pollinator Festival Passport program, you'll have a chance to win one!

Want to see the original artwork in person? The pieces are currently on display as part of a Hill Kent exhibit at the Downtown Vancouver Library. Be sure to check them out.

Then join us at this year's Arts Hub during the Pollinator Festival and help create a brand-new community art project for 2026!
