The Van Vleck ISD Education Foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities for excellence in education, promote innovation in teaching, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for our students. Our organization is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors who personally contribute and raise funds each year through donations from local businesses, community members, or
ganizations, parents/guardians, and alumni. The Foundation aims to achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following goals:
» Support teachers with innovative efforts and recognize them for exemplary teaching
» Enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students
» Involve the community in assuring the highest quality education be available to our local youth
The Van Vleck ISD Education Foundation links community resources - time, money, services, expertise - with the needs of our schools to enhance and complement the educational mission of the district. Award Innovative Teaching Grants to teachers of any grade level within VVISD that have submitted grant applications to our Board of Directors detailing exciting and engaging new ways of teaching or introducing a subject matter to students;

Reward long-term academic achievement by selecting VVHS seniors with tangible goals of furthering their education, and that proficiently complete the VVISD Education Foundation Scholarship Application. Any contribution to the Foundation will be used to magnify the educational opportunities available to the students and teachers of VVISD.
