KVBB attended the 71st Annual Meeting & Business Expo yesterday and had a great time! We saw old friends and made some new ones... Thank you Van Buren Chamber of Commerce for a great expo and for including Keep Van Buren Beautiful in your presentation of "Vision for Velocity for Van Buren"

Saturday was such a great day! Helping 90 individuals/families dispose of unwanted items at no charge to them is something KVVB is proud to do. In addition to accepting the trash, we had a bounce house and offered complimentary hot dogs/chips/drinks. None of this could have been possible without lots of help:
CARDS - River Valley Communities provided the rolloff dumpsters.
Van Buren Municipal Utilities provided equipment for loading, and made this relationship with Cards possible.
Citizens Bank & Trust Co. Van Buren donated hot dogs and all the trimmings.
Rhodes Chevy donated the use of their grill (including delivery!)
Walmart Van Buren donated potato chips.
Van Buren High School, VBSD let KVBB host this event in their parking lot.
A big shout out to all the KVBB volunteers lending their time!
We can't wait until the Fall event!....

We filled up 5 Cards Dumpsters today instead of the normal 4, and unfortunately, turned away at least 15 loads.
We did have 90 drop-off loads, which was up from our 65 from the fall event.

Unfortunately, the rolloff dumpsters are full… but we have a bounce house and free hot dogs, so please come on out! We are in the east parking lot at the Van Buren High School!! We will be here until 12 pm!

Tomorrow is our Spring Dumpster event and we do sometimes get full before 2PM. We'll post on our FB page suggesting you hurry on down, as it might be hauled away soon.
Also, tomorrow is our first event at the HS location,
and while there is plenty of room at the parking lot, Pointer Trail might get congested. Please remember that this is a neighborhood area and avoid blocking street access.
