We were honored to have been able to spend $500 on the Mountainburg pre-k class for school supplies. The Crawford County Mounted Patrol is made up of full time and reserve officers as well as volunteers that like to give back to their community.

On February 25th Jonathan Rhea had approached two young females in the Wal-Mart parking lot and attempted to give them a ride. After further investigation it was determined that Rhea was a Level 3 S*x Offender in Crawford County. It was also determined that Rhea was driving a vehicle that he had not registered through our department. As a S*x Offender, you are required to register every vehicle you have with the department that monitors you. Rhea was arrested by Investigator Smith for Failure to Comply with S*x Offender Registry requirements and is being held in the Crawford County Jail.

*Must be able to pass Drug Test as well as Criminal History Background

The Mounted Patrol participated in the Pioneer Day Parade and the Old Fort Days Memorial Day Parade last month. There was a great turn out for both parades. We would like to thank everyone for coming out and all those that put in time to help with both parades.
