Red Carpet of South Georgia Rolling out the Red Carpet for all our Armed Forces friends For this we are eternally grateful.

For over 50 years, the Valdosta-Lowndes County community has been welcoming new airmen and their families to South Georgia. It continues to be an honor to host reception dinners at historic Ocean Pond, contribute to airmen's needs, hold "burger burns" for deploying units and generally help whenever needed.
