Welcome friends, faculty, staff, alumni, and students of Valdosta State University! We would like to take a quick moment to thank all of you for taking the time to visit and join our group. DID YOU KNOW...that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime? The funds raised at Relay save lives by funding cutting-edge cancer research, early detection and prevention educatio

n, advocacy efforts, and life-affirming patient services. It is because of YOUR hard work and involvement that we are able to save lives, help those battling cancer, and empower all to fight back against the disease. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. This worldwide movement takes place in 19 countries outside of the United states.

*This is the largest cancer movement in the world AND the world's largest not-for-profit fundraising event!*
