Who is United2Prevent? 🩵💜

We’re a community committed to preventing su***de and strengthening the people, families, and communities around us.

Through education, connection, awareness, and practical resources, we work to make sure people know the warning signs, know how to start the conversation, and, most importantly, know they’re not alone.

Su***de prevention isn’t just one person’s responsibility. It takes all of us.

Some stories are difficult to tell.
Some memories are difficult to carry.
But when survivors find the courage to share their stories, something powerful happens: silence begins to lose its power.

This video shares the stories of multiple su***de loss survivors, each with their own experience, their own journey, and their own path toward healing.

We never truly know what someone else may be carrying behind the smile we see. So be kind. Be patient. Check on your people. Give grace. And when someone is hurting, remind them that they don't have to carry it alone.

We’re proud to partner with Leadership Lowndes Class of 2026, Group 2, to bring su***de prevention and mental health awareness directly to local students through assemblies at all three Lowndes County Schools middle schools.

The first assembly took place this past Friday at Hahira Middle School, featuring guest speakers Dr. Leah McMillan of EnSpire Counseling & Wellness and Gabe Nabers, a member of the Leadership Lowndes Class of 2026 and Lowndes High School graduate.

Through education, honest conversations, and connections to resources, these assemblies are giving students the tools to recognize when they or someone they know may be struggling, and reminding them that they never have to face difficult moments alone.

We’re incredibly grateful to Leadership Lowndes Group 2 for choosing to make mental health and su***de prevention part of their service project and for helping us bring this important message to our schools. Together, we can create communities where reaching out for help is encouraged, supported, and never something to be ashamed of. 💜🩵
