We rescue animals from surrounding shelters and place them in foster homes while they wait for their furever home. We are always looking for loving foster homes and volunteers to help us and we are always in need of basic animal care supplies and monetary donations. Parsley went on her first adventure to Lowe's and Tractor Supply!

Parsley is a one year old Shepski and has been in rescue her entire life. She is a lovable, energetic pup that deserves a family of her own. Parsley is a very curious yet cautious girl, giving second thoughts to loud noises. She is house and crate trained, and is working on her leash training. She gets along with other dogs around her size or bigger. She isnt a match for smaller dogs and cats. Due to her timid nature, Parsley will need a home with no small children.

Parsley's adventure took some patience, and moving at her pace, but brought so much joy to watch her enjoy the world around her.

Bev wants to say thank you to everyone that donated for her care. She had to have all remaining teeth removed but will start feeling so much better soon.

She is an around 10 year old Yorkie looking for a calm furever home. She is a gentle, quiet companion and will follow her person around. She can co-exist with other dogs but isnt looking for a doggie to be her best friend. She's fine with dog savvy cats but will chase. She will need a secured fenced yard because her terrier DNA is strong.

We made the mistake of telling Marshall that the camera loves him, now he loves the camera!

Marshall is a 1-2 year old Chihuahua mix, weighting about 8 pounds. He is dog friendly, but needs a moment to make friends, especially with bigger dogs. He is car friendly but needs a dog savvy cat because he will chase. He would do better in a home with older children. He is not house trained, but is super handsome in belly wraps. He is active and a funny fella. He loves to snuggle be with his person.

Who can resist this tummy!

Twinkle is a two year old Chihuahua. This girl wants to be held 24/7 and shakes the other 24/7. She is a very sweet, quiet and timid girl. She is still working on how to accept love, as she does cower and sometimes tinkles when you go to pick her up, but truly does want love and attention with all her little heart. Twinkle is not housetrained. She coexists fine with other dogs and cats and will sometimes play, but her primary focus is her person. Her best fit is a calmer home, with no small children, or someone with mobility issues and someone who has the time to make her their world.

Dexter, a six-year-old male German Shepherd. This fella is not only gorgeous, but also smart. He knows sit, recall, down and the “place” command. He walks well on a leash, is house and crate trained and is a good rider. He loves to play with female dogs, because look at him, of course he is a ladies’ man! He’s not a member of the “Cat Fan Club”, so no homes with cats, and would do best with older children.

Dexter is energetic and will need a plan to manage his activity level. He loves affection, eating and playing. He is a big fan of tug-o-war and the “fetch” part of fetching a ball but still needs some work on the “give it back” part! Dexter also appreciates being brushed and mani/pedis so that he can keep looking his model best.

Dexter is not a first-time owner kind of fella and will need to go to a shepherd savvy family. Although trained, he still is strong in the shepherd characteristic of doing his own thing if he can get away with it. We have a trainer that is willing to work with a local family to help him and the family transition.

Our Beans has found a home! This shy, lovable, squishy fella made eye contact and hooked his people. They, like us, fell madly in love. We are so excited this baby can live the rest of his years with a family.

Meet Dixie!
Initially many of you might be interested in making Dixie yours, but this sweetheart isn't going to be a match for everyone. Dixie is two years old. She has some anxiety which causes stranger danger and possessiveness issues, and she does snap. These behaviors can be modified with training. Dixie needs a loving and patient home, as dog training is more about the human on the other end of the leash. BUT, the rewards are furever.

She is a best match to a calm, single person, or limited person home, with no children. Dixie does well with cats and other dogs, although she isnt a big player. She is a snuggler, and loves to ride. Dixie will require a fenced in yard.

Where are the Yorkie people?!
Bev is another one of those lost or thrown away seniors that we love so much ❤️ She
is in need of blood work and a dental, and we are in need of help covering the bill. If you look at Bev's smile you see a little canine, well she has about four others in her little mouth and everything needs to go (some you can wiggle around). We are asking to help raise $300.

Bev is on her way to getting healthy and ready for a new furever home. Checking out her blood work and getting her mouth healthy are the last steps.
