When local children don't have reliable access to the nutrition they need, it impacts their health and education. Thanks to the support of donors and community partners, school markets and backpack programs in our network are able to provide more groceries to students and their families.

From flooding to feeding! ❤️ After having to temporarily close due to weather, County Market in Danville reached out to EIF to donate their perishable groceries including produce, meat, dairy, and bakery products. Seven different food pantries in Vermilion County came and rescued food, and our team took a full truckload of what was left back to the Foodbank. We're truly grateful to the County Market staff for their generosity and kindness, and for turning a crisis into additional meals for local families!

We're proud to partner with Gregurich Farms, a fourth generation family farm in central Illinois, to provide high-quality protein to our neighbors experiencing hunger. Through the Farm to Food Bank program, Gregurich has provided thousands of pounds of ground beef to EIF and our sister food banks in Illinois this year. Thanks to Noah for stopping by for a tour of the Foodbank and bring us some more delicious beef to provide to our community! ❤️

Congrats to Johnette from Faith United Methodist Church for winning a $1,000 gift card! Johnette and her team pick up donations from Ruler Foods weekly, which helps empower them to feed more local families. ❤️
