Each year, we distribute millions of pounds of food across our network of nearly 170 programs such a food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Together, we’re working to create a hunger-free eastern Illinois. We fight hunger in communities throughout these 18 eastern Illinois counties:

Our friends at Evergreen Roadworks are dedicated to giving back to our neighbors, and hold an annual food drive to benefit EIF that brings together several community partners. Eastern Illinois Foodbank today announced the appointment of Sue Grey as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

As Interim President and CEO, Grey will work closely with staff and community partners to ensure the continued strength of the organization's operations and community impact, as the Board of Directors determines next steps in identifying a permanent President and CEO.
