Harry Potter Alliance UIUC We, the Harry Potter Alliance, are the UIUC chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance- an international charity organization. Welcome to the Magical Illini.

We use the magic of Harry Potter to bring light to issues around the world as well as set up events to raise money for non profits. The Magical Illini uses fan activism to fight for human rights, equality, and literacy worldwide. We host a ton of events like butterbeer and bake sales, movie marathons and harry potter trivia nights. Our major events are the Yule Ball and the Triwizard Tournament wh

ich are exactly as awesome and magical as they sound. More importantly we take part in the Accio Book campaign run by the international Harry Potter Alliance which accepts book donations to spread literacy across the world. After all, we're all here together because of the books... or the movies. Well, the movies are about only because of the books so anyway. Hello Witches, Wizards, and Magical Folk. After 9 wonderful years, the UIUC Harry Potter Alliance’s journey is coming to a close. All of us on the Exec. Board want to thank you so much for supporting us by attending our various events such as meetings, scavenger hunts, bake sales, Triwizard Tournament, and of course our Annual Yule Ball. While our organization has concluded, we look back with fond memories and happy hearts at all of the fun times, friendships made, and fundraising through fan activism.
Thank you for joining us on our journey and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we have. 🪄
