🎓 Every time you buy an Illini Moms care package, attend one of our events or participate in a fundraiser, you help support Illinois students. 🧡💙

In just over one month, our Illini Moms community has already raised enough to fund THREE student scholarships — and we're halfway to our fundraising goal for the year.

Behind every scholarship is a student. And, behind every scholarship are hundreds of Illini families who helped make it possible — sometimes without even realizing it.

A care package for your student.
A ticket to a football game.
A purchase from our merchandise store.
A fundraiser you supported.
Each one becomes something bigger when we do it together.

That's what “Moms Make It Happen” really means. 🧡💙

And that's Why Illini Moms.

🧡💙 Now THAT was a Homecoming!

From riding through the Homecoming Parade in true Illini Moms style, handing out more than 100 pounds of candy and necklaces along the way, to filling our SOLD-OUT ticket block at Memorial Stadium, this weekend was one big celebration of everything we love about Illinois.

We waved. We cheered. We laughed. We reminded students to clean their refrigerators. 😂 We soaked up the sights and sounds of a packed Memorial Stadium and celebrated alongside our students, families, alumni and the entire Illini community.

The BEST part: Our Homecoming fun had a purpose. Proceeds from our sold-out football ticket block helped support the Illini Moms scholarship fund, and we've already raised enough this year to fund THREE student scholarships! 🎓

The Cannon may be heading back to West Lafayette this year (bummer! 😭), but one loss can't put a damper on this much Illini spirit.

To everyone who joined us in the parade, cheered from the sidelines, bought tickets in our block, volunteered, waved, laughed and celebrated with us, THANK YOU for making Homecoming 2026 one to remember.

This is what Illini Moms is all about: connection, community and showing up for our students.

🧡💙 Have you ever wondered what Illini Moms actually does?

Maybe you know us from Moms Weekend. Or a care package. A football game. A fundraiser. Maybe you've attended one of our events or followed us here for years.
But Illini Moms is about something much bigger.

For more than 100 years, the Illini Moms Association has brought moms and mom figures together with one shared purpose: supporting University of Illinois students and the community around them.

We create opportunities to connect. We build community. We raise money for scholarships. We recognize extraordinary students and members of the Illinois community. And we support programs and projects that make a difference in the lives of Illini students.

But what does all of that actually look like? Over the next few weeks, we're going to show you. 👀

Welcome to Why Illini Moms? 🧡💙

Because behind every event, fundraiser, and gathering is a bigger reason for being here: our students.
