The Ethan’s Purpose 5K Walk/Run is far more than just a race. In fact, most of our participants walk the course! But if you’re a runner who loves a little competition, we’ve got you covered too—with AMAZING prizes for the winners in each age group! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This event is a time for our community to come together to celebrate anyone who has ever struggled with mental illness and to honor the loved ones we have lost in their battle with mental illness.

Our goal is to Let The Light In and create a day where people feel supported, connected, remembered, and encouraged. We hope that every person who joins us walks away with a little more hope in their heart. 💛

Come walk. Come run. Come remember. Come learn. Come have fun.

Back again this year for the 7th Annual Ethan’s Purpose 5K is one of our favorite traditions — the FREE Kids Fun Run! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We love celebrating our youngest runners and encouraging them to take care of both their physical and mental health!

Children ages 8 and under are invited to participate in this FREE event. Kids will line up at 9:00 AM and run one lap around the bus loop, finishing their Fun Run with a small prize and a celebration at the finish line! 🏅

When registering online for the 5K, don’t forget to register your little ones, too, so we can make sure we have enough goodies waiting for all of our young runners!

We can’t wait to cheer them on! 💙💜

Last year, we started a beautiful new tradition at our Annual 5K—Remembrance Signs. ❤️

Together, our community honored 22 loved ones lost to su***de or mental illness. We received such meaningful feedback about having these signs displayed along the race course. For many, it gave the walk an even deeper purpose—a reminder that su***de knows no boundaries and that behind every sign is a loved one whose life mattered.

We are honored to continue this tradition again this year. We will proudly display last year’s signs along the course and will also be ordering new Remembrance Signs for those who would like to participate.
