Please join us at the Main Library this Thursday from 2-4PM for our Summer Reading Kickoff Extravaganza! Enjoy a variety of dinosaur-themed activities as we celebrate the beginning of UPL's 2026 Summer Reading Challenge: Unearth a Story™!

You can sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge by visiting uplnj.readsquared.com or if you prefer, sign up at the kickoff. Everyone who registers for the Challenge will receive a welcome gift, while supplies last. We can't wait to see you there & to begin a summer full of reading!

There is only one week left to donate to our annual menstrual products donation drive benefiting the Township of Union Public Schools. We will have drop-off bins at both of our locations until Friday, June 5!

El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. Día is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
