Another year, another National Cat Day! We celebrated last year with a tour of our library given by our furry friends, but this year they asked to show off their Halloween costumes instead! Thank you for joining us at our Diwali program last Saturday! We had a ton of fun with friends & family as we learned about and celebrated the Festival of Lights.

Today marks the beginning of ALA's 21st annual National Friends of Libraries Week, so we wanted to give a shoutout to our wonderful Friends of the Union Public Library! Our very first program in the Creativity Lab was a huge success, and you can be part of the next one! Come turn scraps into art at Junk Journaling this Thursday 10/22 at 6PM! We'll provide a starter stash of paper and ephemera, but feel free to bring your own found treasures like old cards, ticket stubs, and magazine clippings. Register now on our website!
