Work on the CHS Courtyard has officially begun!
Today, Cougar Boosters members rolled up their sleeves and got to work clearing the courtyard — cutting back overgrown bushes and tall grasses, pulling weeds, pruning trees and starting the process of draining the old pond… one bucket at a time!
A huge THANK YOU to the Booster members who came out and put in some serious hard work today. We made great progress, and it’s exciting to finally see this project taking shape.
But we’re just getting started! Our goal is to transform the courtyard into a welcoming outdoor space where CHS students can gather, eat lunch and connect. Next up, we’ll need materials for a new pebble ground cover, picnic tables and other supplies to bring the space together.
Want to help us make it happen? During the month of October, donations to the Cougar Boosters will go toward the CHS Courtyard renovation. Every donation — big or small — will help us get closer to the finished space our students can enjoy.
And don’t miss Back to School with the Boosters on Thursday, October 22 from 6:30–9:30 PM at St. James’s Gate in Maplewood! Join us for a fun night out, enjoy some appetizers and help us raise funds for the CHS Courtyard. The first 50 guests will get a b**r or w**e on us!
Thank you, CHS community, for helping us bring this courtyard back to life!
