Sikh Support is calling on the Department of Homeland Security to review its recent social media post using the name “Mr. Singh” alongside imagery appearing to depict a Sikh man.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we cannot ignore the history of harassment, discrimination, and violence Sikh Americans have faced because of our visible identity.

This is about accountability, understanding, and ensuring Sikh Americans are treated with the same dignity and respect as every other American community.

We respectfully ask DHS to listen, learn, and do better.
