Relay for Life of Tri-City FUN We hold our 24 hour event during the summer, but we have fundraisers and events all year long.

The Newark Event was started in 2006 when the Tri-City Relay was split into three separate events. We have been building momentum since then and hope to be more successful this year then ever before.

Today is National Get Up Day -- U.S. Figure Skating created this day and it has become a worldwide movement where people share their stories of inspiration and how they get back up after difficult times. It is perfect timing today to also recognize National Cancer Prevention Month. This is a great opportunity to recognize American Cancer Society's mission which is to “improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer”. Today is the day to share your stories of how cancer has affected you and help us this month to spread the word and take action in order to live better, healthier, and happier lives.
