Retriever mix, 10 months old and 72 pounds
True to his name, Nitro is full of energy, enthusiasm, and ready to take on life at full speed. This handsome young Flat-Coated Retriever mix is your typical active, fun-loving youngster who is always ready for his next adventure. Whether it’s hiking, walks, playtime, trips to the lake, or just being included in an active family’s daily routine, Nitro is happiest when he has something to do. As a young dog, Nitro will still need some basic training and guidance to help him become the best version of himself, but he is eager to please and ready to learn. With a little consistency and structure, this smart boy has all the potential to be an amazing lifelong companion. Nitro also showed us his fun-loving side by absolutely loving the kiddy pool, proving he’s more than ready for summer adventures, splash time, and backyard fun.

Mastiff mix, 6 months old as of June and 56 pounds
Raven is a loving young girl with a gentle personality and all the goofy charm that comes with being a large breed puppy. If you’re looking for a big dog companion, Raven may be the perfect fit. We are guessing she will be 80+ pounds once fully grown! Raven is very food motivated, which will make training fun and rewarding, and she already knows how to sitt! If you’re ready to commit to raising a large breed pup and helping Raven become the amazing dog she is meant to be, come meet her today!

Meet Jack.

Jack is in a foster home but will be at the shelter today. If you have been wanting to meet Jack, come to the shelter. If you can’t make it today, no worries, contact the shelter and make an appointment.

Jack was trapped last July emaciated and with a fractured hip. Jack had surgery and thriving in his foster home.

He is crate trained, housebroken, loves toys and a very sweet boy. He can be timid when you first meet him but give him some pets and you will be his best friend.

Knight spent most of his puppyhood growing up at the shelter after arriving at just 6 months old. Until recently, the kennel was all he knew 💔. Thankfully, one of our amazing volunteers opened their home to foster him, giving him a much-needed break from shelter life.

In just a short time, Knight has shown how incredibly smart he is. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows sit, down, shake, catch, and more! 🐾 He’s sweet, energetic, and an all-around wonderful young dog. Let’s help Knight find the loving forever home he’s been waiting for.

Trout is a 1‑year‑old, 72‑lb Labrador Retriever mix with a friendly, playful personality and a great start on his training. He already knows sit, down, and shake, and he’s eager to keep learning. Trout loves people, enjoys staying active, and would make a wonderful hiking partner for an adopter who enjoys the outdoors. He’s ready to join a loving home where he can be both your adventure buddy and your loyal companion.

Mastiff, 5 years old and 95 pounds
This older gentleman is all about the simple things in life: a comfy place to nap, some gentle affection, and a family to call his own. Sal is very mellow indoors and enjoys just hanging out with his people, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm, easygoing dog. As with any new friendship, Sal will need proper introductions to any potential K9 companions. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature really shines through.

We think Nitro could make a great companion for another K9 friend and would likely enjoy having a canine buddy to romp around with.

If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and handsome dog to grow with your family, Nitro just might be your perfect match. ❤️
