Wild Waters provides an opportunity to learn meditation practice or to continue in your practice (at any level) with a group of dedicated practitioners on Mondays: 5:00-7:00 at 1001 9th St. E Duluth, MN, and Thursdays: 5:00-6:45 at ZOOM LINK winter (120 7th Street, Two Harbors, MN. in Summer)

Through meditation, and Buddhist teachings, we learn to see and respond to everyday and life changing events in new ways.

Join us live At Wild Waters North - Thursdays at the Aspirus Lakeview Hospital Conference Room 5:00 (gather and greet for 15 minutes) We will be beginning a new book study: Steps to Liberation: The Buddha's Eightfold Path by Gil Fronsdal.
Our full format is 5:15 (short 15 minute silent sitting time) 5:30 a 45 minute dharma discussion and then (6:15) a final 30 minute sitting time. Doors to get into the hospital lock at 5:30 but you are free to leave at any time.

The Two Harbors Group is getting ready to "REGROUP" and is once again, meeting live (and hybrid) at Aspirus Lakeview Hospital Conference room on Thursdays from 5:00 (gathering time) to 6:45 (dismissal). We do a short meditation (15 minutes), discussion and then a longer sitting period (30 minutes).

If you were ever thinking about meditation and Buddhist psychology for your well-being, now is a great time to join us.

We also have a Monday night group that meets in Duluth.

The Practice is about making choices every day toward a more skillful (non-harmful) way of of being. Lately, I have been trying to take the Buddha's instructions to experience for ourselves how things unfold given different pre-cursers (causes and conditions). By our very behaviors, we create root causes for helpful or potentially painful results. In being more mindful of how things feel to us and those around us, we can tune in to how we can be more intentional in creating more beauty and joy for ourselves and others.
