If there’s one vocation that asks for complete selflessness, it’s being a teacher.

On World Teachers’ Day, we honor every teacher, everywhere.

Today, September 21, we mark the International Day of Peace alongside peacebuilders around the world who show, every day, that peace is something we build together.

As Good Neighbors, we believe that peacebuilding starts with choosing to coexist, without conditions, and that choice is what makes it possible to live together in harmony.

[Emergency Appeal] - Nepal Flood
What we're seeing on the Ground.

Severe flooding has disrupted the lives of communities across Nepal, leaving families facing damaged homes, disrupted livelihoods, and uncertainty about what comes next.

In this video, a Good Neighbors team member shares what we’re seeing on the ground and how our teams are responding to the needs of affected communities.

From visiting affected areas to listening directly to community members, our response begins by understanding what people need most. We are working alongside local communities to provide essential assistance and support their recovery.

For Good Neighbors, emergency response is not only about delivering immediate aid. It is about being present, listening, and standing together with communities as they recover.

We will continue to monitor the situation and support affected communities as their needs evolve.

Good Neighbors, We are here to be their neighbors.

🤝 Support Nepal’s recovery after the floods.

[Emergency Appeal]- Nepal Flood

On August 26, a devastating flash flood swept through Nuwakot District, Nepal.

An early warning from local police gave Udhav Pandit's village just enough time. Everyone survived. But when the water receded, his home was gone.

"Now, where my house used to be, you can only see the river. What we need is simply a place to live." - Udhav Pandit

Thanks to an early warning from local police, everyone in his village survived.
But survival is only the beginning.

Good Neighbors is providing food, clothing, and emergency supplies to affected families.
VFor families like Udhav’s, however, the road to recovery is much longer. They need a safe place to live and a chance to rebuild their lives.
