For over three decades, Good Neighbors has believed that a world without hunger is possible. What began as a simple but powerful vision has grown through the dedication of communities, partners, and people who continue to work together for a better future.

In the Dominican Republic, Good Neighbors is helping create positive change by supporting children, families, and communities to overcome challenges, strengthen opportunities, and build brighter futures. Every story of progress, every dream pursued, and every achievement reached reflects the power of collective action and hope.

Because meaningful change is not built in a single day. It grows through partnership, resilience, and the determination of people who refuse to give up. And every day, communities across the Dominican Republic continue to write the next chapter of that story.

Watch the video and discover how Good Neighbors República Dominicana is creating Good Change alongside children, families, and communities.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we are highlighting how access to clean water, safe sanitation, and menstrual health support is helping women and girls live with greater dignity and confidence.

In rural Cameroon, Good Neighbours Canada, together with Good Neighbors Cameroon and with support from Global Affairs Canada, is helping transform communities through solar-powered boreholes, improved sanitation facilities, menstrual hygiene kits, and training for women to produce reusable sanitary pads in a newly built Women’s Empowerment Centre.

In El Salvador, our work with Good Neighbors El Salvador, supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives , is helping girls stay in school and grow in confidence through dignity kits and Girls Empowerment Clubs.

Because menstrual health is not a privilege, it is a human right.

Even after the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, many families are still unable to return home. Some communities remain displaced after their land and houses were occupied, forcing families to stay in temporary evacuation camps while struggling without stable income or livelihoods.

Among the most vulnerable are mothers with babies under three years old who urgently need nutritional and hygiene support. In response, GOOD NEIGHBORS CAMBODIA worked with local authorities and community volunteers to identify affected families and provide emergency assistance.

Through this initiative, 471 families with young children received formula milk and baby hygiene supplies to help support their immediate needs during this difficult time.

While the conflict may have paused, recovery and healing continue for many families. Good Neighbors Cambodia remains committed to supporting vulnerable children and communities affected by displacement and crisis. 💚

This International Day of Families, we celebrate farmers like Stephano Mayunga, whose hard work is rooted in one dream: to build a better future for his family.

For years, Stephano struggled with low bean prices and dependence on middlemen. Through Good Neighbors Tanzania's KiTiKi II Project, his cooperative gained access to training, collective selling, and better market linkages.

For the first time, Stephano sold his beans at a fair price, earning TZS 3.7 million. With this income, he paid his children’s school fees, bought farm inputs, upgraded his milling machine, and saved for school uniforms.

When farmers are empowered, families grow stronger.

Read the full story in the link.

Stephano Mayunga’s story shows how KiTiKi helped farmers earn fairer income through collective selling and stronger market access.
