In observance of World Environment Day, Good Neighbors Bangladesh launched Earth & Us, a 10-day campaign across 17 CDPs to turn environmental awareness into action.

Led by youth members of the Nature and Peace Clubs, the campaign reached:

✅ 6,697 community members
✅ 1,828 students from 83 schools
✅ 402 youth leaders
✅ 1,968 saplings distributed
✅ 736 trees planted
✅ 32 media outlets engaged

Through rallies, clean-up drives, school activities, dialogues, and tree planting, young people showed that climate action is strongest when it starts in the community.

Together, let us protect the Earth because protecting the Earth means protecting ourselves. 🌱

Nearly 138 million children worldwide are engaged in child labour according to International Labour Organization. Of these, 54 million are performing hazardous work that threatens their health, safety, and future.

Rina, not her real name, is one of them.

At just 12 years old, Rina works in a factory to help her family survive, while quietly holding on to one simple dream: to return to school and be a child again.

This World Day Against Child Labor, let us remember that behind every statistic is a child with a name, a story, and a future worth protecting.

From Africa to Asia and beyond, young people are proving that they are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they are creating change today.

Through initiatives like and youth programs across the Good Neighbors network, children and young people are learning to take action on issues that matter to their communities and the world.

Good Neighbors Vietnam with 88 primary school students recently joined the Global Youth Network, where they explored the UN Sustainable Development Goals, environmental protection, climate action, and global citizenship. Through learning and international exchange, these young leaders are building the knowledge, empathy, and confidence needed to contribute to a more sustainable future.

In Méhé, Cameroon, women, girls, teachers, and community leaders are coming together to break menstrual health stigma and create lasting change. 💚

Through Goodneighbors Cameroon_GNCMR's new Women Empowerment Center, community members are learning to produce reusable sanitary pads and soap, while local champions and teachers are leading conversations that help girls stay confident, healthy, and in school.

By strengthening local knowledge, skills, and leadership, the community is building a future where women and girls can manage their health with dignity, confidence, and pride.
