We had a wonderful May full of opportunities to serve, connect, and improve health across our community!
Throughout the month, our weekly clinic continued providing free medical care, medications, and support to uninsured individuals and families in need.
In partnership with Five Horizons, we hosted HIV testing and saw an incredible response, with 61 individuals tested and connected to important health resources.
Together with catch-kids.org, we provided free sports physicals for nearly 40 middle school students, helping them get ready for a safe and successful athletic season.
Our Narcan Training, facilitated by Comuniccare, welcomed 35 participants who learned how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. Each participant received life-saving overdose prevention education and Narcan.
At the Saints' Brew Resource Fair, our team connected with individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable community members, providing hygiene supplies, healthcare referrals, and assistance accessing important services and identification documents.
We also hosted our monthly Community Collab meeting featuring Dr. Dawn Colquitt-Anderson. Twenty-five community members and partners joined us for meaningful conversations about collaboration, community engagement, and building healthier communities together.
Thank you to our volunteers, community partners, and supporters who make this work possible. Every connection made, every service provided, and every life impacted helps strengthen our community.
