At the district meeting in Oxford on September 24, our club placed 2nd overall in the district and was honored with two national awards.

Thank you to the members who attended and represented Tupelo Garden Club so well. We are proud of all our club has accomplished and grateful for the hard work behind these honors.

Our Garden Club year is officially underway again, and it was wonderful to gather after the summer break.

We are grateful to Harrisburg Baptist Church for welcoming us to The Lodge and providing such a beautiful setting for our meeting.

Our program featured Brad Deramus, Director of the Chickasaw Heritage Center, who shared an update on the Center’s construction and the progress being made.

Many thanks to our hostesses, Deborah Stone, Rosanne Roberts, Kathryn Rhea, Holly Rogers, and Sallie Kate Ray, for helping make the morning so special. Rosanne also created the beautiful floral arrangement using blooms and greenery gathered from her own yard.

We’re excited for the season ahead and all that’s in store for our club.

We wrapped up another wonderful Garden Club year at the Elvis Presley Birthplace — enjoying time together, reflecting on the year’s accomplishments, sharing a delicious meal and a fun game of bingo!

We were excited to welcome our new members Karen Alvarez, Sara Berry, Meg Curtis, and Julie Thompson! We also installed our new officers and are thankful for their willingness to serve our club.

Thank you to our hostesses Kathryn Rhea, Jackie Newell, Susie Miley, Kathryn Barrow, and Tina Barber for a lovely morning.

We’ve enjoyed our summer break, but we’re looking forward to being together again in September!

Throwing it back to cooler days and our April Garden Club meeting!

It was Pop-Up time! We had such a fun time visiting and creating beautiful flower arrangements to distribute throughout our community — sharing the love and power of flowers one bouquet at a time.

Members of the Tupelo Garden Club refreshed flower beds and containers at Sanctuary Hospice House.

Sanctuary is a place that has touched the lives of so many throughout Tupelo and the surrounding communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to help keep this special place warm, welcoming, and beautiful for patients, families, and staff during difficult times.

Recently, we had the pleasure of touring fellow member Joan Ball’s beautiful home garden. From creative garden features to unique handcrafted touches, her landscape reflects her eclectic style, artistic spirit, and love of gardening.

Every corner offered inspiration, proving that gardens are more than plants—they’re a reflection of the people who create them.
