Pennsylvania 4-H Week begins! 🍀

On March 10, the Wyoming County Commissioners issued a proclamation recognizing the impact of 4-H and the youth, volunteers, and families who make it possible.

This year’s theme, “Passion Sparks Opportunity,” celebrates the energy and dedication of young leaders across our community. We’re proud of our 4-H members and grateful for the volunteers and families who support them.

Calling all 4-H animal science volunteers!

Mark your calendar for the 4-H Animal Science Club-Level Education Volunteer Training! The training will be held on February 11 at 6:30 p.m.

The webinar address will be sent to all volunteers via email.

No pre-registration is required. Club-level education is replacing QAM/Quality Animal Management! Come learn about available lessons, how the program works, and how to use the materials at club meetings. This webinar is for ALL NON-CLOVERBUD animal project volunteers. It will be recorded.

Mark your calendar for Animal Science Camp!

Animal Science Camp will take place from May 15-17, 2026. Camp is open to 4-H members 13 and older who are enrolled in an animal project related to one of the three camp tracks (dairy, equine, or livestock).

Campers experience life at Penn State's University Park campus while participating in a series of hands-on, science-focused workshops taught by Penn State faculty, Extension specialists and staff, and industry representatives. Camp is an excellent fit for those exploring higher education and career opportunities in the animal sciences--as well as for youth interested in learning more about the science aspects of their 4-H animal projects. Volunteer chaperones are also needed!

PA 4-H Animal Science Camp registration opens 8 a.m. on February 2 in ZSuite. CAMP FILLS EXTREMELY QUICKLY! If you plan to register, mark your calendar and log in to ZSuite on February 2!
