Children do their best learning when their bodies and minds are ready.

This month’s Recharge & Resilience Parent Workshop will focus on Fueling Our Bodies & Minds and how balanced food choices can support children’s energy, focus, mood, and ability to participate throughout the day.

This is not about perfect meals or complicated nutrition rules. It is about helping families talk with young children about how food helps them play, learn, grow, and feel their best.

Final Recharge & Resilience Parent Workshop
Topic: Fueling Our Bodies & Minds
Date: Thursday, September 10
Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
Location: Lower Level Classroom, Wyoming County Healthcare Center
For: Parents and caregivers of K–2 students
Free to attend thanks to funding from AllOne Charities

Sometimes the most helpful thing you can do is give yourself permission to pause.

Diane Ogin of Pathway to Peace & Wellness will join our Cancer Support Group on September 9 for an evening of reflection, connection, and relaxation.

Her presentation, “Create the Day You Want to Experience,” will explore ways to bring greater intention and calm into daily life. Diane will then lead the group in a closing Reiki session.

Balanced food choices do not have to be complicated—and every meal does not need to be perfect.

Young children are still learning about their bodies, preferences and the many ways food helps them grow, think and stay active. Parents and caregivers can support that learning through everyday conversations and manageable choices.

Join us for Fueling Our Bodies & Minds, a free workshop focused on helping K–2 children develop a practical understanding of how food fuels their bodies and minds.
