❤️ WELCOME TO THE TCI BOARD OF DIRECTORS, LEAH BROWN!

We’re so excited to welcome Leah to the Thurston County Inclusion Board of Directors!

Leah is a mom of two boys and works locally in special education. When she’s not at Special Olympics events or the baseball field, you can find her camping with her family, exploring new cities, reading, or visiting Disneyland!

Leah is passionate about inclusion and creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to feel connected and belong in their community. She loves seeing how TCI has grown over the years and the positive impact it continues to make on individuals with and without disabilities.

We’re so happy to have Leah on board and look forward to all we’ll continue to accomplish together!

We had the best time at the Yelm Community Schools C.A.R.E.S. Event last night! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, said hello, and took the time to connect with us. It was so great meeting families and community members and sharing a little more about what TCI does.

There were so many amazing local organizations and resources represented, and we’re always grateful to be included in events that bring our community together!

TCI’s Olympia High School board member, Mim, was present along with staff sharing all the smiles and info!

C.A.R.E Night is just around the corner!

This incredible, don’t-miss annual event is our College/Career/Resource fair in one! We will feature a diverse range of participants, including 2 & 4-year colleges, trade schools, career training programs, military representatives, professionals from various industries, and local resources and community organizations. Open to all ages, the evening is designed to connect students and families with valuable information and opportunities — not only to support their current needs, but also to inspire meaningful conversations about future goals and the many paths to success.

We hope to see you there!
