Visitors can shop a wide variety of locally-sourced and handcrafted items, including:

January planting made simple, easy, and organized 🌱❄️
No guessing, no overwhelm—just a clear, zone-based guide so you know what actually makes sense to plant this month.

This list is organized by USDA hardiness zones, so you can match plants to your climate instead of the calendar.

What you can plant in January (by zone):
• Veggies & greens: onion, garlic, beets, carrots, arugula, swiss chard, lettuce, spinach, kale, radish
• Herbs: oregano, parsley, cilantro, thyme, chives
• Flowers: violas, black-eyed Susan, tulip, hyacinth, poppy, purple coneflower, calendula, daffodil
• Fruit & perennials: blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peach, plum

Each plant shown includes its recommended USDA zones, making it easy to spot what works where you live.

Why this approach works:
🌱 Planting by zone prevents frost damage
🌱 Cool-season crops grow stronger when timed right
🌱 Perennials establish better when planted in suitable climates
🌱 You save seeds, time, and frustration

Pro tip:
If you’re between zones, use protection—cold frames, row covers, or containers can expand what you’re able to plant in January.

Save this for reference ✔️
