The purpose of the Westchester Recreation and Parks Society (WRAPS) is to unite in one county wide organization, all areas of Recreation and Parks.

WRAPS encourages the highest standards of professional qualifications, training and ethics, through the promotion of ongoing professional education programs for all Recreation and Parks personnel. Through the continued study and research in the Recreation and Parks field we support the principles and standards for the improvement of Recreation and Parks personnel. The Westchester Recreation and Parks Society will also act as an advocate for the Recreation and Parks field when necessary. WRAPS will preview all legislation pertaining to Recreation and Parks and support those bills that are in the public’s best interest.

Thank you to Rye Brook Parks & Recreation for hosting the WRAPS meeting earlier today about outdoor fitness facilities, to the panel for providing such great information, and to Kathy for putting it all together. 💚

Extra shout out to Nicole Caviola for being my fitness model on our tour of Rye Brook Parks & Recreation’s outdoor facility (which is so cool, btw).

Our board has recently changed up after this year’s election, so here is an opportunity to get to know the people that lead WRAPS and make everything happen. 💚
