Southern Westchester Energy Action Consortium (SWEAC) SWEAC is a collaboration of municipally-appointed citizen committees addressing energy and other sustainability concerns in Southern Westchester.

We benefit from participation from elected officials and/or environmental committees from the following municipalities: Bronxville, Dobbs Ferry, Eastchester, Greenburgh, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, White Plains, and Yonkers and participation is growing.

Tomorrow aka Friday 7/8/22, is the last day to order for pickup on Sat 7/9/22 in either New Rochelle in the a.m. or Valhalla in the afternoon. Lots of new items in addition to Compost Bins and Rain Barrels. All sold at cost, the County does not make any money on this sale, this is done as another service to move us toward Zero Waste!

As almost all of you know, the Southern Westchester Energy Action Consortium (SWEAC) has been merged with NWEAC to form Sustainable Westchester. You should go that page and "Like" it. Here is a photo of the newly elected Board of Directors of Sustainable Westchester.
