This will be my last market of the summer season! There is still one more on Halloween. I'll be back Nov. 14th at the new winter hours. So please come out and get some treats. Almost everything freezes well, so get a few extras to tide you over.

“Light Up Your Life” Silent Auction & Party
This is a fundraising event featuring lamps, lamp shades and light fixtures designed by individual artists and sold in a silent auction on Saturday Oct 24, 2026 at RioBravoFineArt Gallery benefiting Sierra County Arts Council’s Art & Entertainment Fund and Scholarship Fund.

Rules: One submission per artist. Maximum entries is 60. Lamps, lamp shades and light fixtures supplied by artists. All artwork is donated to the Arts Council. Unsold artwork will be returned to the artists. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: October 5, 2026. No entry fee. DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING ARTWORK: October 18, 2026.

Forms can be downloaded here or obtained in person at Rio Bravo, 110 N. Broadway, Zia Gallery, 415 Broadway, Light of the Soul Gallery, 411 Main and The Center Gallery Fine Art, 201 S. Foch Street.

We have such a wonderful harvest coming in these days at the market. We even have a pumpkin lady who also has watermelon, very reasonably priced. Fall is in the air!

Michael Widick

Michael Widick is a Wyoming Artist who was born in 1973 in Lander, Wyoming.

His first Art Show was in first grade where he did a pencil drawing of an Imaginary Animal.

He never pursued an Art Career.

He went to Body School at Wild Tech instead of going to College, like his Mom wanted.

He ended up going to Prison in 2000 and finished his Obligations in 2025, where he touched up his skills in every Media, pencil, paint, pastel and pen and ink.

He doesn't know why he ended up in Truth or Consequences, but he feels like he's in his Community, and feels like he belongs.
