Arrive Alive Tour® at Hot Springs High School 🚗
On February 24, 2025, the Arrive Alive Tour®, sponsored by the Sierra County DWI Program, visited Hot Springs High School in Truth or Consequences, NM, empowering students with life-saving driving knowledge.
Throughout the day, students had the chance to experience our high-tech simulators and face the harsh realities of impaired and distracted driving—without being on the road. The Arrive Alive Tour® remains the nation’s leading drunk and distracted driving awareness event, with the added benefit of being the only ma*****na driving simulator in the country.
In New Mexico, impaired and distracted driving is a pressing issue, and with young drivers (ages 16-20) 17 times more likely to die in a crash when impaired, it's essential to have these important conversations. More than 58% of teen crashes are caused by driver distraction, and the Arrive Alive Tour® is working to change that.
A special thank you to Sierra County DWI Program for making this event possible and to Hot Springs High School students for their engagement. Together, we’re taking steps to reduce teen crashes and make our roads safer.
Let's continue to make a difference—one student, one driver, and one safe choice at a time!
The funding for the Arrive Alive Tour was made possible by The OliveTree and Sierra County BHIZ grant.
