They are working to combat food insecurity in Sierra County through sustainable agriculture, education, and strong community collaboration. Their efforts include building healthy soil, developing water-smart gardens, and creating Earth Battery greenhouses designed to thrive in the high-desert climate.

Through youth programs, accessible raised-bed gardening for older adults, and year-round organic food production, People Growing Together empowers individuals and families to grow their own food and build long-term resilience.
