Good Friday.
The day the sky darkened…
The curtain tore…
And love was poured out on a cross.

“But He was pierced for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on Him,
and by His wounds we are healed.”
- Isaiah 53:5

Today we remember the sacrifice.
The suffering.
The weight of our sin carried by Jesus.

It looked like defeat.
It felt like silence.
It seemed like the end.

But Sunday was coming.

Good Friday reminds us that even in the darkest moment…
God is still working.
Hope is still alive.
Victory is still on the way.

The cross wasn’t the end of the story.

Join us tonight for the Maundy Thursday service at 7 pm.

🌸 We know today as Maundy Thursday.

It’s the night before the cross.

Jesus sat at the table…broke bread…and knew what was coming.

🌸 He washed their feet.
🌸 Even the one who would betray Him.

And then He commanded them to love one another!

Not a suggestion.
A command.

That’s where the word Maundy comes from…
“mandatum” which means commandment.

✝️ Today’s prayer

Lord, you showed us how to serve. You showed us how to be humble. You showed us how to love. Help us love each other the way You taught us to. In Your name, amen.
