John Bryan tread survived overnight showers in good shape, so FastLaps #3 is a go for tonight (Wednesay, 10 June). Checkin at the gazebo opens at 5:30, closes at 6:15, and riders off at 6:30. 20% chance of a pop-up shower but the great trail conditions and much improved ruts (thanks to the tons of rock armoring and trail work!) have got in a state that it should be able to shrug off the predicted maximum accumulation. We may have a slight delay if popups storms hit near the start time.

We hope to see you tonight (pic is to show tread condition - don't worry, that tree will be gone by 5pm!).

Still looking for a volunteer timer and short course marshall (will be a shorter short course if we have to combine the two!).

FastLaps #3 is scheduled for tomorrow, 10 June at John Bryan. Currently predicted to have a chance of showers tonight - course is currently in good shape so we will only cancel if the there is too much accumulation (will make the call around 1pm and announce it here on FB).

Step 0 (2026 season waiver and membership verification) for members:
https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=420001

Once registered with step 0, members (who need to click yes on the member question and enter the same email they used for step 0!) and nonmembers (who will be charged a $20 fee to cover nonmember insurance plus the $1 webscorer fee) can sign up for individual FastLaps events at:
https://www.webscorer.com/mvmba?pg=register

FastLaps #3: https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=420011

Common issues:
1) Complete step 0 first!
2) If you are a member, answer the membership question 'Yes' and enter the same email to sign up for individual events as you did for step 0 (if the entry fee is $21, you didn't verify you are a member correctly!)
3) Bring your number plate/bib (the 2025 and newer plates are 'permanent', if you lose or forget your bib the replacements are available for a $5 replacement cost or you can also donate $5 to select from available numbers).

MVMBA values volunteers. Today our volunteers earned Trail Crew status. They put in 10 hours for the year and earned their Trail Crew Shirt. And we love to see the eye on the Fastlaps prize. 10 hours volunteering means 10 points. Last day to make your mark for our June Trail Work Weekend. https://signup.com/go/srbftAp
