The Grand Traverse Area Spartans are proud to partner with Grand Traverse MSU Extension to create more opportunities for young people across Northern Michigan.
Through this partnership, GTAS has pledged $5,000 annually through 2031 to provide scholarships for youth in Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties to attend 4-H Exploration Days at Michigan State University.
This is philanthropy in action; Spartans investing in young people and helping make transformative experiences possible. Exploration Days gives youth the opportunity to experience college life, explore career pathways, develop leadership skills, make new friends and discover what’s possible at MSU.
For GTAS, this investment is about more than a scholarship. It’s about supporting young people, strengthening our communities and building connections to Michigan State that can last a lifetime.
We’re proud to invest in the next generation and look forward to finding even more ways to partner with MSU Extension 4-H in the years ahead.
