Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday Quota International
How did you spend Quota’s 100th birthday on February 6? Report in on Quota International’s page and share your photos with the world!
Save the Date!
Quota International is pleased to announce the re-launching of leader telephone calls—with a new twist! We’re combining club presidents and regional directors in all calls so all Quota leaders will hear all Quota messages and news together. Calls will be hosted by 2018-2020 President Emilie Simon and Quota staff cheerleader (and Quota Community and Programs Manager) Grace Caldwell. A selection of board members will be in attendance during each call.
You will receive a separate e-mail with information on specific days and times for calls (held at varying times from Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 10 depending on your global location), the agenda, and a form you can use to reserve the time that works best for you. Calls are only open to club presidents and regional directors. The same agenda will be followed in each call. Watch your e-mail for more details!
Quota International News Nuggets
*Membership: Quota International’s official membership number as of October 1, 2018, (the start of the new fiscal year) is 4,038 members in 217 clubs. That is a loss of 332 members and 16 clubs since the last official dues collection period, January 1, 2018, which reported 4370 members and 233 clubs. Because of the change in fiscal year in calendar year 2018, we only had a nine-month period between our official dues payment periods. The dollar amount of dues paid for the January 1 to September 30, 2018, period were prorated to reflect the nine-month period they covered.
*Century Program Donations: As of today, Quota International has received U.S.$65,993 in donations specifically towards Quota’s Century Program, 44% of our goal of U.S.$151,345. We are deeply grateful to all club and individual donors for their generous Quota support during this year of transition. View our online Q-thermometer which updates donations as they are processed and check out our Century Program donor page. Donations will continue to be accepted throughout Quota’s 100th year.
*Defining Quota’s Future: All regional directors have been sent information regarding the international portion of 2019 Regional Meetings, a program which includes a presentation, Q&A, and a small group discussion program. The primary topic will focus on Beginning Quota’s Second Century of Service and the strategic collection of feedback from small discussion groups. The Board of Directors will use this data when crafting Quota’s structural evolution. Please encourage all regional members to attend. Be sure to check the final 2019 Regional Meeting Schedule for dates, location, and international representative information.
