The Grand Traverse Metro Firefighters Local 5288 are back for our 5th Annual Golf Outing! Dust off your clubs, round up your favorite foursome, and join us for a fantastic day on the course—all for an amazing cause.

It’s summer time in Northern Michigan and the day has proven that!

Crews responded to a vehicle accident near Barney and Cedar Run, a single occupant was extricated from the vehicle within 4 minutes.

Crews responded to a wildfire off Zimmerman Rd, called in by an off duty member, and the fire was quickly contained.

We stand in solemn gratitude with the families of the fallen and the community we serve.

We have said goodbye to our trailer and moved into our new home for now!

Huge thanks to the Grand Traverse Metro Administration, the Fire Board, and our townships for making this happen. We’ve officially moved into the renovated Acme Township hall, which can house three firefighters. Best of all? We are finally under the same roof as our trucks!
