✨ August was a busy month for Glassy CRO!

After months of planning and preparation, An Evening Under the Stars: Bright Futures Begin Here brought our community together for an incredible evening in support of local students.

And what a night it was — $265,000 raised and counting, a new fundraising record for Glassy CRO! 💙

From our Education Stations and student performers to robotics, auctions, music, and a sold-out crowd, there was plenty to celebrate.

Under the Stars at the Cliffs CRO Fundraiser Gala, Board Chair Denise Ruby and Executive Director Sandi Smith celebrated a shared commitment to helping struggling readers living in poverty gain the literacy skills and confidence they need for a brighter future. We are so grateful to CRO Glassy for investing in the success of our students.

🌟In 2025, your generosity reached 7,200 local students.

Together, the Glassy community helped fund $199,645 in grants supporting local schools and community programs across Greenville and Spartanburg Counties.

Those grants became books in the hands of students. Musical instruments in classrooms. Robotics programs. Literacy resources. Science experiences. Summer opportunities. Support for families. And so much more.

Even more importantly, 96% of every dollar donated to Glassy CRO is directed to programming.

🌟On August 24, An Evening Under the Stars is our opportunity to celebrate what we have accomplished together — and help create even more opportunities for local children in the year ahead.
