Looking back from the new census taken in Numbers 26 to the original census taken back in the very first chapter of Numbers, we see God’s faithfulness in keeping His promises—both His promise against that original generation out of Egypt (that they would die in the wilderness on account of their rebellion) and also His promise in delivering a new generation to the Promised Land, the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We also saw in the first part of Numbers 27 that, looking ahead to the future of certain families that happened to have no male descendants, God made a way to provide land for them, as well. The deadline for our annual Operation Christmas Child shoebox drive is fast approaching. We have quite a few boxes that still need filling. Turnout has been very low this year so please consider taking and filling a shoebox. This is an amazing ministry that blesses children that otherwise would not have an opportunity to receive gifts like this and learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ to save their soul. Please consider it. ♥️ Boxes are due back Sunday, October 18th.
