As we wrap up National Prevention Week, we had a great time at Conestee Park connecting with our community through conversations about prevention, mental health, and healthy choicesđź’™

Thank you to everyone who stopped to share their thoughts, experiences, and encouragement. Prevention starts with conversations, community, and showing up for one another. Every voice matters, and together we can help create a healthier, stronger future for Greenville.

For day two of Prevention Week we celebrated with our “Chalk It Up to Prevention” event 🎨

Students learned about healthy habits, why it’s important, and shared how they play their part by making healthy choices, being kind, staying active, helping others, and taking care of their minds and bodies.

Prevention starts with everyday choices, and today our youngest community members reminded us that everyone has a role to play.

Thank you to Alexander Elementary, who helped make today such a success!

It’s officially Prevention Week! 🙌

This year, we’re encouraging everyone to Play Your Part in Prevention, because prevention isn’t just one program or one persons job.

All week you will find us out in the community sharing ways YOU can be part of prevention.

To kick off, ECHO members will be sharing their stories. Today we start with Ella Haase from the Phoenix Center, talking about how she plays her part in Prevention.

What’s your part?

This week, our mobile unit spent two full days at Lakeview Middle School where we provided substance use prevention education and engaged with students to encourage healthy choices.

Early education plays a critical role in helping young people understand risks, build confidence, and make informed decisions.

Thank you Lakeview Middle for partnering with us! đź’«

Did you know that most misused prescription medications come from home?

One way to help prevent misuse is by disposing of unused or expired medications, and these disposal bags make it easy to do that.

ECHO Rx is working to make these resources more accessible throughout Greenville. Stay connected with ECHO to learn more about how to support safe homes and communities.⚕️🏡
