Tracy City #266 had its installation of officers for the upcoming year on Saturday, March 7th. We were honored to have the following as our installation officers:
Betsy Hastings was our Installation Worthy Matron. During the year she also serves as our Grand Instructor. Betsy has been doing Eastern Star work for quite a bit! She said yesterday that she has been involved in functions like ours for 20 years. Betsyβs delightful husband Dwight has so many designations in the Star as well as the Masons that he has some kind of title that drags on like aluminum cans strung behind a wedding vehicle! Brother Dwight is one of those people you look at and say to yourself, βGosh! I really know him!β π€ Our installation Marshall was their daughter , Amanda Carter. Words cannot express our chapterβs love for Amanda! She is quirky just like most of the members in my chapter. Absolutely nothing catches her off guard or unprepared, she battles it out with her mom and together they get us headed in the right direction while Brother Dwight sits there shaking his head and laughing to himself at the antics of the two women whom he loves so well. This is a family that truly blesses Tracy City chapter every time they attend our meetings! Sister Sue Hastings was our installation Chaplin. The honor that brings to our little house is unimaginable! Sister Sue is a Past Grand Worthy Matron of the Tennessee Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Thatβs quite an achievement! Sister Sue visits us quite frequently and is always dressed like the classy lady she truly is! I am always so thankful when visitors from other chapters actually make the time to find us in Tracy City. Other visitors who often drop in to see us are Sandy and Jim Brasellton who have their own set of honors as well as Teresa Harmon and her sweet sister. Tracy City has long been blessed by the love from our surrounding chapters of Wi******er and Manchester! Our prosperity and longevity is truly due to the fact that βWe get by with a little help of our friends!β
Tracy City #266 has been blessed with the addition of 5 new members in the past two years. Our chapter is flourishing! Being the Worthy Matron for my second time this year, I am so excited for our chapter! If you have a Masonic connection in your family lineage and would like to become a member I can certainly help you out there!! πππ€πβ€οΈ
